Tigers!! Our Elementary Big Kahuna Fundraiser starts TODAY!! Our friends at Big Kahuna will be on campus today visiting with our students and giving them all the details to share. Please be on the lookout for packets and more information as your student returns home this afternoon!!

Congratulations to Keaton Whittington for being "written up" by Mrs. Williams for being an outstanding student in her science classroom. Mrs. Williams says, "Keaton comes into my classroom everyday ready to start working on Science. He never complains about anything. He tries his best to complete all assignments in a timely manner." Great job being a role model and great example of what a Tenaha TIGER should be!
Tenaha ISD is preparing for this Friday's game vs San Augustine in SA. Although this week has shown a bit of reprieve from the extreme temperatures we have been enduring over the last few weeks, we are still taking safety precautions to protect our students and staff that will be participating Friday night. The same safety protocols that were in place this past week will be exercised once again to ensure all of our Tigers are well taken care of during this time. We will be providing electrolyte-filled drinks (Gatorade, Liquid IV and Body Armour) to all participants as well as having water and ice available on the sidelines throughout the game. Dress code will be amended so that all participants are kept as cool as possible and we encourage fans to once again do the same.
If you see anyone in distress due to the heat, please make contact immediately with our Administrators on Duty and our Athletic Trainer, Jeff Davis.
San Augustine does have streaming services available through NFHS Network and we will share that link as soon as we receive it from San Augustine. As always, please do not click on any streaming links unless the District has shared the link.

It's TIME to kick-off the Junior High Football SEASON!! Our JH Tigers will play their first scrimmage Thursday evening in San Augustine at 5pm! Make plans to travel to SA to watch these Tigers start their 2023 Season!!
Please remember the SENIOR CLASS PARENT Meeting tonight at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. We are aware that there are other activities during time, but we hope you can join Mrs. Barr and Mr. Byrdsong for this informative session; students need not attend, parents and guardians please!
Just a reminder that Fall Portraits will be taken on Thursday, August 31st beginning at 8:05am; students will be called by grade level to have their photos taken. ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF will have a photo made even if you do not choose to make a purchase. These are the photos the yearbook staff uses for the portrait section of the yearbook!
We will send home order forms just as soon as they have been received! You will also be able to order online at traditionsportraits.com once the photos have been taken!

TIGERNATION! Yearbooks from the 22-23 school year have ARRIVED! Those that purchased a book and were in attendance today, your books should have been delivered to you 8th period. If you were a graduating senior of 2023, your books have been taken to the High School Main Office for pick up.
If you missed the opportunity to purchase your yearbook last year, we have about 25 copies available to sell. The books are $45 and may be purchased beginning tomorrow in the High School Main Office. For any questions, please contact Mrs. Huckabee.
