The first day of school is almost here, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back this Tuesday, August 4th! We are excited to see our students, reconnect with our families, and “LEVEL UP” in 2026-2027.

Please use the Tenaha ISD Family Scheduling Guide for quick reference throughout the school year. Screenshot it, or print it so you'll always have important school dates handy when making plans.

REMINDER—Students will attend school all Fridays in August (7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th). Our regular four-day instructional week begins September 25th, so those August and September Fridays are important instructional days!

Every day in the classroom matters, and your partnership in helping students be at school makes a difference. Thank you for supporting your child's success and for helping us make every day, every minute count.

What to do if you have not registered your child for the 2026-2027 school year:

1️⃣ Go to tenahaisd.com - navigate to Student Registration/Student-Parent Portal
2️⃣ Scroll down to Step 2 and complete Web Forms through PDF Filler. (This section will remain open.)
3️⃣ Gather required documents. Email to: studentregistration@tenahaisd.com or bring copies to the elementary office.
4️⃣ Watch for social media announcement that Parent Portal is reopened
5️⃣ Complete Ascender Parent Portal registration for NEW or RETURNING students before July 31 - Meet the Teacher night.
