ATTENTION ALL ELEMENTARY PARENTS:
Children participating in the parade tomorrow need to be dropped off at the elementary parking lot by 1:30pm. Buses will take them to their floats at 1:45. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THEM DIRECTLY TO THEIR FLOATS for safety reasons!!!
Teachers will have sign out sheets for you to pick your child up immediately following the parade in the bus run between the elementary and the middle school. Please make sure an adult is signing them out (some of our new staff will not know siblings).

Tenaha ISD will host FAFSA Night this coming Wednesday, October 19th from 6pm to 7:30 in the TISD Cafeteria. It is a graduation requirement that all students must complete a FAFSA or sign a waiver. Representatives from Panola College will be on hand to help, as well as a translator. Those attending will need to have the following information available to make the process as smooth as possible:
*Student and parent social security numbers
*Tax information from this past year (if filed)

The official results are in from Huxley and Coach Sisk!! The Varsity Boys absolutely DOMINATED just as expected, turning in a PERFECT SCORE!! Yelitza Perez and Jaydaleeya Curtis also both turned in exceptional times earning themselves spots in the regional meet!! We are so proud of all our High School Cross Country athletes!! ATTENTION Elementary Parents:
Forms will be coming home with PK-2nd grades students for the World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser. Parents that return slips will be able to begin picking up chocolate tomorrow, October 11th in the Elementary office from 7:30am - 4:30pm.
All 3rd and 4th graders who return a slip will be able to take home a box themselves beginning Tuesday.
The last day to check out chocolate will be October 25th, and the final day to turn in money will be October 28th!!

There's no rest for the weary!! Our Tigers are back at it bright and early this morning!! The Roarin Band from Tigerland is in Mineola this morning for the Mineola Music Festival competing once again. After a fantastic start to the season this weekend, they will compete today in Mineola and then again this Saturday in Longview before returning for the Homecoming parade Saturday. It’s officially BANDTOBER!!! The “triangle” has been in full force the last few weeks and today our ROARIN Band from Tigerland begins their quest for a a repeat State Championship!! They begin their day bright and early in Carthage…followed by a short layover to relax courtesy of the fine folks of Harts Bluff ISD and their first class facilities…then traveling on to Mount Pleasant. Upon the announcement of finalists, the band could potentially march again late this evening as well!! Prayers for traveling Grace and Best of Luck to each and every student and director!!! 🐅🎺🎷🐅

Tonight, our Tigers start with a clean slate on their quest for a district title and playoff run...TENAHA....SHOW UP!! SUPPORT OUR BOYS!! Be positive and fight with them until the end...because I can promise you they WILL!!
Not only will our Tigers put forth a great effort out on the field, our Roarin' Band from Tigerland will join together in a rare performance opportunity at pre-game for the playing of our National Anthem with the 2A Military Marching State Champion Carlisle Indian Band, and of course then battle it out at half-time for bragging rights of the best performance!! Our Tiger Cheerleaders will be on hand all night supporting our team, and we'll be offering the best concessions menu in East Texas...Friday Night Lights at it's finest!!
