At TES, we want to model the behavior we expect from our students. As part of our "we're all on the same team" theme, our TES staff has been divided into 4 teams this year, and we wouldn't be Tenaha if we didn't turn it into a competition! The Maroon Storm won the 1st competition by having the best record clocking in and out. They were treated with Pizzeria Pizza last Thursday. This six weeks, the team to complete the most challenges created by Mrs. Ward will get one duty covered next six weeks. Ms. Bickham and Coach Rogers (part of the Maroon Storm) have completed one challenge by doing something kind for another team member.

We love starting off the first week of the 2nd Six weeks with some positive office referrals! All of our staff members have 3 orange referrals to give this six weeks. Here's to catching some great behavior!

To end a successful six weeks, Mrs. Ward drew 16 names for prizes on Friday. Any student who got a positive office referral, a respect award, honor roll or earned the TIGER lanyard was eligible for the drawing. Congratulations to these girls and boys for being the lucky winners!

TES recognized our All A and All A's and B's Honor Roll for the 1st Six Weeks. Congratulations!

Mrs. Garcia's 2nd grade students showed Mrs. Ward how they used critical thinking skills in science today. It was amazing watching how each pair created their swings differently with the same supplies. Great job!

As the 1st Six Weeks has come to a close, TES Principal, Mrs. Ward wants to share some updates and important information with parents and the community as we begin the 2nd Six Weeks! Check out all the details in her newsletter below! For alternate languages, once you have clicked on the link, you may select "Translate" at the top of the newsletter. https://www.smore.com/cxdkq

We REMEMBER...on behalf of Tenaha ISD we remember those who sacrificed their lives to protect others, the families who were been left behind to pick up those pieces, and the strength, courage and patriotism that flooded our nation in the days after. May we never forget...#9/11 #weremember #patriotday2023
