Proud to be a Tiger

Welcome to the Tenaha ISD Athletic home page. Tenaha ISD is one of the most successful small-school athletic programs in the state! Not only are we successful in athletics, but because we prioritize and set high academic expectations for our athletes as well, we see many of these students go on to earn scholarships beyond their high school careers.

Our Football program has played in 5 State Championship games; winning the state title in both 1998 and again in 2011.

Our Basketball programs have made 4 State tournament appearances; winning the State Championship in 2003. Our teams have also qualified for the Regional Tournament, on both the ladies and mens side, on numerous occasions throughout school history.

Tenaha ISD Soccer was the first 2A soccer program in the state. The girls team continues to be one of the top small-school programs in the state, while our boys team is very competitive, playing against 3A-5A schools.

Our Cross Country program has continued to grow and succeed since its inception. The team has had multiple State Meet qualifiers, bringing home a bronze medal from the state meet as well. We have also had several regional qualifiers and outstanding team accomplishments throughout the program's history.

Track & Field has also seen multiple athletes qualify for both the regional and state meets; with medals coming home from both in the past.

Winning is tradition in Tenaha; however, it hard earned through determination, dedication by both our athletes and highly qualified coaching staff, and support of our school district, community and fans.

Go Tigers!
