• Do you have specific part numbers for the Ubiquity parts you are needing?

no we do not. I am not a ubiquity expert so we thought this would give the vendor more options to best fit our needs

Do you have a floor plan with data closet locations and cable drop locations identified?

no, this is one of the reasons that we require a site visit. Otherwise you will have no idea about the cable runs

Is TISD requesting fiber patch cables to be included with each fiber optic backbone cable? If yes:

    a.       How many for each fiber optic backbone cable? (i.e. one for each end?)

When you are done our backbone should be operational so the number a cables is depending on your bid.

    b.       What connector style(s)? (e.g. LC – LC?)

We expect this to work so whatever connector styles are needed for the new fiber and that will plug into the fiber ports of the switches.

    c.       What lengths?

Whatever length is need to connect where you put the fiber panel in to where you install the switches.

We require this to be a turn key operation when you are done we expect the system to work. We also expect you to help configure the new switches so they are operational

Is TISD requesting copper patch cables to be included with each new Cat 6 cable drop? If yes:

    a.       How many for each new Cat 6 drop?

We expect it to work so however many you need to make our network operation so it depends on your bid

    b.       What length(s)?

Whatever length is needed to connect where you put the switch in relation to the patch panel.

We require this to be a turn key operation when you are done we expect the system to work. We also expect you to help configure the new switches so they are operational
