Shannon Landrum           

    Shannon Landrum

    Shannon Landrum is a 2009 Music Education Graduate of the University of Texas- Arlington.  At UTA, she performed with the marching and concert band, was the clarinet section leader, and chapter president of the band-affiliated sorority Tau Beta Sigma.  Shannon is originally from Shawnee, Oklahoma and graduated from Prague High School where she was a three-time small school all-state student. 

    In 2015, Ms. Landrum received her Masters Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University.  Shannon spent several years as an Assistant Band Director in Beaumont, Texas.  While teaching in Beaumont, she was also a Curriculum Writer, a member of the District Education Improvement Committee, and a mentor teacher. 

    Ms. Landrum also served as the Director of Bands in Gruver, TX and Hinton, OK where her bands received superior ratings.  Under Ms. Landrum's direction, the Tenaha Middle School Band has received back-to-back UIL Sweepstakes Awards for the first time in history.  

    Ms. Landrum is entering her tenth year of teaching and looking forward to her third year at Tenaha ISD.
