Prodigy includes over 1200 crucial math skills for grades 1 - 8 and has content from all major topics. Prodigy will seamlessly cover Grades 1 - 8 to help ensure our students are ready for standardized testing. It addresses every child’s individual needs with a diagnostic test to place students on the grade level that matches their initial ability. Prodigy then uses embedded assessments and automatic differentiation to ensure that each one of our students close any gaps at their own pace. From a teacher's perspective, Prodigy informs me about my classroom with 24/7 reporting. Everything my students work on in Prodigy is reported back to me in real time. I can quickly see which skills my students have mastered, and where they may need some additional support. Prodigy can be done at school during the following times: Before school (after breakfast and before 1st period begins), after assignments and lessons are completed during class time and Tiger College/Career Readiness period (if no other assignments are required), and after school during Zero Hour (3:45-4:15). Students can also practice on their prodigy account from smartphones, tablets, or other devices anytime they have wi-fi or data available.
