I began teaching science in 2001.  Prior to becoming a science teacher, I practiced as an emergency room nurse in Houston, Texas.  I have three children and four grandchildren which are my heart and soul!  My husband and I travel around the country hiking through different parks with our dogs.  I enjoy the educational field and consider myself lucky to be able to have a job that gives so many rewards.  I have a degree in Medical Records Technoloy, a bachelors in nursing, my teaching certificate, and a master's degree in management with certification as a principal.
